Workshop on GB/USA Culture course runs for 2 semesters and consists of tutorials/classes. This semester we will discuss life and institutions of the UK, whereas the spring term will focus on the US culture and its institutions. During the 1st semester of the course students’ final grade is based on continuous evaluation. The UK component of the course ends in an exam at the end of winter term. The objective of the UK tutorial is to familiarize the students with the basic distinguishing features of selected aspects of today’s Great Britain, including its country and people, politics and government, education, and religion.
