This course aims to acquaint the students with basic scientific and technological concepts, following the 1BA vocabulary course. After completing this course, students should be able to translate popular science texts on topics connected with science and technology. Apart from written translation practice, the course will also introduce vocabulary and concepts through interpreting tasks. Finally, active and passive use of science and technology vocabulary both in Polish and English will be part and parcel of the course.
