The primary objective of the course is to familiarize students with new technologies and online solutions utilised in the EFL classroom. During the course, we will discuss the following topics:
- Current trends in education
- Online tools for teachers
- Cloud computing in education
- Google Drive in (and outside) the classroom
- E-learning platforms and online courses
- Copyright issues for educators
During the meetings, students will be presented with an overview of concepts, including a discussion of strengths and weaknesses of various solutions. Students’ final grades will depend on the final test score after all the theoretical and practical concepts have been discussed. The test will be held on Moodle during our final meeting and will comprise ten multiple-choice questions. Each student will have a different set of questions randomly selected from a Moodle question bank. The questions will be focused only on the topics discussed during our meetings.
