This course investigates their traditional mythologies, religions, and poetries, and points to elements of common heritage. The course presents an attempt to identify some of the elements of an Indo-European heritage in the (West) Slavic material: the pieces of the IE mythology can be found in the mediaeval literature, some of them still live today as the elements of the Slavic folklore.
