The lecture discusses the changed conditions in which Europe found
itself after World War II, the history of European integration, the
basics of the theory of European integration, the institutions and the
functioning of the European Union today, Poland's path to EU membership, as
well as today's place of Poland in the EU. The method of assessment is through a final written examination.
