The Proseminar in Cognitive Translation Studies is a course for students who are interested in how translation is done in the human mind. We will discuss the research methodology and the major achievements of empirical translation studies in research on written text translation, interpreting and audio-visual translation. The students will be able to design their own research projects and present them to the class. They will also develop a more informed understanding of translated language.
