This course is a part of the Theatre and Drama in English Programme. The aim of the course is to learn the basics on postcolonial theory, postcolonial theatre practices and most well-known dramas. Students will be asked to read canonical postcolonial texts and analyse them in class. One of the requirements of the course is also an involvement in an artistic/theatre project where students creatively engage with selected texts and moderate discussion afterwards.
