I Give students a good understanding of what media writing is and what makes it effective. II Help students develop the linguistic skills which will enable them to write short media texts effectively. III Introduced students to basic media texts such as the news story so that they learn common styles and structures used in media writing. IV By analyzing and writing texts, enable the students to plan, structure and write effective news stories, blog entries, opinion pieces and reviews.
