Main objectives of the course:
introduce students to
lesson planning, teaching skills, techniques and practical classroom
procedures;
promote creative use
of the theoretical knowledge in practice; encourage
self-development through active participation in the course and reading current
TEFL books and materials; develop a reflective
approach to teaching; develop a critical
approach to materials, textbooks and methods used in ELT; broaden teaching
skills in a variety of situations. Assessment based on the results of tests, effective lesson planning and microteaching.
