The aim of this course is to provide students with detailed knowledge and skills connected to work with pupils in the second stage of education (4th – 8th graders). Students will deal with the development background of early teenaging, planning, performing and evaluating of the pedagogical process as well as design preventive and pedagogic programs with respect to pupils’ needs and capabilities. A variety of aspects related to the everyday work of a teacher, such as pupils’ social integration, teacher-parent relationships, designing afterschool activities for pupils and solving educational problems will be discussed.
