This course will help you to improve your academic writing and speaking. You will read and analyze samples of successful academic prose, work on an excerpt from your M.A. thesis, and present your research to your classmates. The goal is to develop and become comfortable with your own academic style which is precise and scientific, yet also accessible to those outside your area of interest.
